About The Artist
Vera is the 2nd child of immigrant parents. She has always been creative but never had the opportunity to study art. Vera has been a farmer, manager, woodworker, administrator, and renovator. Once retired, she worked on renovating her home. When finished, Vera immersed herself in learning to paint.
She did coursework through the University of Saskatchewan, and various online courses. Vera has spent 2 years in the Milan Institute’s Mastery Program which teaches painting in a variety of mediums. She loves working in oil painting; but continues to explore other mediums.
Wildlife is the subject of most of her art. Her interest in wildlife stems from living and working in the BC wilderness for 20 years.
Waterfowl
🌿Waterfowl Species vary widely in size and form, from the smallest delicate types to larger, more robust examples. Distinctions can be seen in their shapes, colors, and behaviors — some are slender and agile, while others are broad and striking. These differences highlight the diversity within the group, making each species unique and recognizable.
